E-ZPass is the electronic toll collection system offered by The Maine Turnpike Authority to Maine residents. With E-ZPass®, there’s no searching for change or stopping to pay a toll. And on many trips, you’ll save money versus cash tolls.
As a result of toll rate changes implemented in 2009, more trips offer savings to E-ZPass customers and E-ZPass savings are now greater. And, if you are a commuter using the Turnpike several times each week, you can save even more.
Simply enter any trips that you typically take on the Maine Turnpike by selecting your point of entry and your exit. We’ll show you the round trip cash toll amount and the amount you would pay with E-ZPass for a Class 1 passenger vehicle.
Savings add up — You can also see your total annual savings if you take that same trip 4 times a month, round-trip for an entire year. (Of course, your actual savings will depend on many factors including your vehicle and the frequency of your trip).

E-ZPass allows you to pay tolls electronically on more than 40 highways and bridges across the northeastern United States. E-ZPass is accepted at:
- Hampton Toll on I-95 in New Hampshire
- Route 16 — the Spaulding Turnpike in New Hampshire
- In Massachusetts, wherever you see “Fast Lane” signs
